Last Teal Saturday

The new month doesn't start until next Saturday, so there are still several more days of teal time if you need to finish up, but this is the last weekend of August.  I made a BUNCH of teal string blocks for Orca Bay, maybe I should put the border together today?  I've got border blocks ready to go for Smith Mountain Morning as well.  Borders are always difficult for me.  First I think I'll make a few tiny nine patches.  Those are always fun and fast.  What are your plans for the weekend?
Use the Linky below to share your rainbow progress.  Anyone else playing catch up this month?

Don't you love a morning with a wonderful day ahead to sew...what to sew, what to sew?!?! I will probably enjoy a mix of hand quilting and getting the scraps under control!

Love your string blocks : )
I think I'm bind a couple small, lap quilts this weekend.
It's going to be a pretty weekend here in NC. Maybe spend some time outside.

I too have been sewing lots of turquoise strings for Orca Bay. Trying to get them done so I can get the mess of the sewing table. I have a lot to do on the remodel today and tomorrow, but I do see some sewing in the evenings. Catch up on a mystery quilt, more strings for Orca Bay, border for the Tetris quilt, great grannie squares, ugly quilt, and to get one quilted and off the frame. So much to do and not enough time in the days to do it.

Pretty teals & turquoises in your string blocks! And yes, I am playing catch-up this week. Hope you have a great sewing weekend!

Love your blocks. I'll do your borders if you quilt my quilt! Just kidding. I will probably finally finish quilting that baby quilt this afternoon or evening and pop the binding on so I have some handwork. Will also prep more of the applique for hand work in the evenings.
Have a great weekend.

Oh dear!!! Really? The last Saturday already? My favorite color and I haven't been able to do anything in aqua yet - bummer! Today is booked doing stuff with the hubby, so no aqua today either. I'll just have to catch up and do aqua with the new color next month :*)

Great strings for Orca bay. I might have to get back to that quilt some day. I plan to unpack the camper and horse stuff, Sew a few more hexes, sort photos, maybe do some patch work or quilting by Sunday.

Just as well the Saturday of this month ran out because the aqua scraps certainly did. But ... I have enough blue to keep me going for a good while yet!

Very pretty strip blocks. Teal is such a happy color don't you think. I had planned to make my blocks yesterday, but decorating for the school dance took priority.
